**Unit Planning for Sandwich Making Topic in Design Technology - Year 3 ** The planning contains 10 lessons and covers the following lesson objectives: Assess what I know and what I would like to learn about sandwiches Know that food can be divided into different groups Understand that sandwiches can be part of a balanced diet Carry out a survey and use a database on the computer for recording results Understand the importance of food hygiene Plan a sandwich design Modify and evaluate their design Write a set of instructions for making a sandwich In the final lesson the children will have their own tea party.
